Polymeric has created Armor-Kote, a liquid screen printable, over-lam UV clear coat.  This product is specifically designed to run in lieu of conventional polyester over-laminates.  Unlike Polyester over-laminates, Armor-Kote can be run on press at high speeds, eliminating bottle-necks of the laminating area.  Armor-Kote is an extremely resilient coating; its solvent and chemical resistance far exceeds that of polyester over-laminates.  In addition, Armor-Kote outdoor weathering characteristics are unmatched.  It offers 3 – 5 year weathering in direct outdoor environments.  This product cures extremely fast and is optically clear and non-yellowing.  Armor-Kote will jog and feed well during all post printing and finishing requirements.  Armor-Kote is extremely high gloss; parts printed with product appear as a conventionally laminated product.
