Polymeric’s ProFilm/H20 is a water-based, antimicrobial, flexographic clear coating system, developed for printing on a wide array of coated paper and polymeric substrates, producing high quality labels. This system is recommended for surface printing and should not be used for lamination or direct thermal substrates.

I am in South Africa, and have just purchased a cmyk inkjet label printer from vip colour in Singapore. The problem is that inkjet ready label stock is very expensive, and very difficult to come by in South Africa. I am looking for a water based coating that i can apply with a flexo press, onto paper and polypropelene labels stock. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Good Morning Andre,
We do have a soft suede water-based coating that may work well for your application. I would like to request samples of the stocks that you would like to print on so we can evaluate the adhesion prior to putting it on press. We can return the coated pieces to test with your ink set.
